Nicole Robin Money passed away on November 6th at the age of 50, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home in Ashburn, Virginia. Her passing marks the peaceful beginning of a new journey following her nearly 14-year-long battle as a stroke survivor.
Nicole will always be remembered for her sense of humor, love for her family, passion for the beauty of her home, and of course, her love for shopping and fashion.
After falling ill in January of 2012 at age 36, Nicole remained a positive force for her family. She took immense pride in being a mother, often assembling and sending care packages to her children, Jake and Paige, while they were away at college. She also remained a loving wife to the love of her life, Jason, who cared for her so dearly for almost 14 years. Her father, Gerry, provided his love and support by giving his resources for her to have the best caretakers, therapies, and equipment available for her treatment.
One of Nicole’s favorite pastimes was to spend weekends in the summer at “the bay”, her family’s summer home on the Chesapeake. She enjoyed going for long boat rides with family and friends, often closing her eyes to feel the warm sun on her face and salty breeze in her hair.
Nicole is survived by her husband Jason, son Jake, daughter Paige, father Gerry, mother Pamela, and siblings Deirdre, Matthew, and Lisbeth, among countless other family and friends.
Nicole will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends for the beautiful, loving, and funny person that she was. She can now rest peacefully, free from pain and without worry.
