

Barbara Malone Hamilton, 82, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at English Meadows in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She was born September 27, 1943, in Bowling Green, Ohio, and was the daughter of Floyd and Betty Malone.
In 1964, Barb married Raymond Hamilton in Bowling Green, Ohio. Later, they settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, for over thirty-five years. While raising their two daughters, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Afterwards, she worked at local hospitals near Doylestown, PA, as a medical technologist.
At home, she enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, and weaving. Creating woven art brought her great joy. Throughout her life, she adored cats and always had one as a pet. Both Ray and Barb loved being near the ocean and spent several years living in St. Augustine, Florida, during their retirement. Being a member of the St. Augustine Quaker Worship Group brought her guidance and peace.
Barb leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Raymond Hamilton, her daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Jeff Pierson, and two grandchildren, Senna Camarillo and Ryan Del Mundo. In addition, she leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Steve Pollock, as well as a niece, Hilary Pollock Grant. Barb was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Hamilton. Barb is in a better place now without pain and reunited with her daughter, Lisa, in Heaven.
Barb wished to be cremated, and a memorial service will be planned at a future date.
