Scott passed away peacefully after a battle recovering from a stroke suffered in April 2026. He is survived by his sisters, Christina (Noah) Freeman and Mary (David) Gray; niece, Samantha Freeman; nephew, Noah Wesley (Alexandria) Freeman; great nephew, Noah Oliver Freeman; and great niece, Evelyn Claire Freeman.
His life's love was music, which he shared with his family, friends and the public with his guitar playing and singing. Scott was an exceptional musician and got his greatest joy sharing his talents with all. He loved the show, the production, and being on stage, and it was apparent throughout a 50+ year dedication to his craft. He also loved his reptiles, fishing, playing cards, and being with his family and friends. He did not know a stranger and his want in life was to save the down-trodden that crossed his path. This shows just how huge his heart was for mankind.
He left behind cherished memories that will never be forgotten and stories that will bring you to your knees with laughter. He remains in our hearts and memories, and he will be missed.
