Incredible man, loyal, and deeply loved by all who knew him, Andrew David Peabody passed away on April 12, 2026, in Goochland, VA, near the home he shared with his fiancée Kendall Schneider. He will be forever missed as a beloved son, brother, fiancé, cousin, nephew, friend, and colleague.
For 31 years, Andrew lived with a warmth that made life better just by being around him. He had a natural way of putting people at ease, often with a quick smile or perfectly timed humor. An outdoorsman at heart, he loved time in the woods, on the water, or on the golf course beside his father, his brother, and his closest friends.
Born in Fairfax, VA in 1994 to Thomas William Peabody and Sarah Fink Peabody, Andrew grew up in Midlothian and graduated from James River High School before earning his degree from James Madison University College of Business in 2017. He went on to build a meaningful career with Ethos Group, where he was respected for his intelligence and work ethic, and even more for his integrity and the genuine care he showed others.
Above all, Andrew valued the people in his life. As the oldest child, he naturally looked out for others, always present when it mattered. His humor, calm presence, and strength made him someone people deeply trusted and truly loved.
He was engaged to be married this October to the love of his life, Kendall Schneider. He proposed in the Outer Banks, a place that meant so much to them both, and they were so excited for the life they were building together.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion and will be deeply missed by his parents, Thomas and Sarah Peabody; his siblings, William and Katie Peabody; his fiancée, Kendall Schneider; and his aunts and uncles, George and Mary Pat Peabody, Elizabeth Peabody Staas, Chris Fink, and Mary Jennings, as well as his great-aunt, Jean Threston. He is also survived by many cousins who adored him, including Quint, Rory, and Liam Peabody; Olivia and Charlotte Staas; Devereaux and John Jennings; and Joe, Christopher, and Anne Threston.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 6006 Three Chopt Rd, Richmond, VA 23226, with a reception to follow in the church commons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Andrew Peabody Memorial Fund, established by Ethos Group, to support an annual scholarship at James Madison University College of Business Center for Professional Sales. Click link below.
