Barbara Gregory Sprouse

She is survived by her children: Donna Maria Brendt (husband Thomas Brendt), Gregory David Sprouse (wife Kimberly and son Sean Michael and daughter Kayce Lynn), Kevin Douglas Sprouse (wife Jennifer and son Jacob Aaron and daughter Sara Ruth). Nieces and nephews: Richard Branham, Michael Pastore, Matthew Pastore, Mary Beavers Bailey, Jamie Beavers, Leigh Ann Beavers, Elizabeth Beavers, Cindy Sprouse Marshall, and Donnie Sprouse and her special friend Claude Reese of Midlothian.

Barbara was a 1953 graduate of St Patrick’s High School. Barbara was a Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout Den mother. Barbara served as a temporary foster parent for several St. Joseph’s Villa orphans. She was an excellent seamstress, accomplished square dancer, landscape scene painter. Barbara was the executive secretary at Ruffin and Payne Inc. She drove a school bus for Hanover County Schools. Barbara and Donal were members of Unity of Bon Air. She took delight in her children and grandchildren and expressed pride in their accomplishments.

She is preceded in death by her husband Donal Juan Sprouse, her two sisters,

Joan Gregory Branham and Rosemary Gregory Pastore, her parents Charles Augustus Gregory, Jr. and Marcella Schooff Gregory; her niece Julie Pastore Atkinson and nephew Roy “Buddy” Branham.
