Betty Harris Vaughan

Betty devoted her career to caring for others as a nurse and retired from Memorial Hospital after many years of dedicated service. Her compassion, kindness, and gentle spirit touched countless lives, both professionally and personally.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita Harris and R.T. Harris Sr.; her brother, R.T. Harris Jr.; her son, Ricky Seelman; and her stepdaughter, Sherry Moore and her husband, Jeff.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Ray H. Vaughan Jr.; her son Ray H. Vaughan III, her daughter, Cindy Colgin; her grandsons, Aaron Seelman (Liz) and Shane Colgin; her granddaughter, Brandy Colgin; and many cherished great-grandchildren. Her sisters; Jone Evans (Charlie), Judy Metheny (Buddy), and Sherry Gregory (Lynnwood).
