Brenda G Barnes

Brenda G. Barnes, sadly passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 62. She was born to Joe Barnes and Evelyn Lawrence in Chase City, Virginia on September 21, 1959. Brenda was a resident of the City of Richmond and attended Maggie Walker. Many know her from working at Thalheimer East Coast, and Goodwill. She was very loved and will be terribly missed.

Brenda is survived by her two daughters, Lakeisha Barnes (Kevin Wicker) and Bianca Carlyle (Orlando Banks); six grandchildren, Marquis Walker, Mareece Barnes, D'marcus Carlyle, D'vonte Carlyle, Eeyonni Banks, Marcellus Wicker; and one great-grandchild Kei'mari Walker. She also leaves behind four brothers, Clarence Barnes (Terry Barnes), Larry Barnes, Freddie Barnes, William Carrol (Marla Carrol), and one sister Tonita Clark.

As well as a host of cherished friends, acquaintances, and associates. The family extends an extra special thanks to Serena Quarles, Kara Banks, Amelia Cosby, Jackie Welch, Francine Brown, James Reynolds Jr., Claudia Jefferson, Mary Marks, Jerry and Kim Carlyle for all of your support during this entire time.

Per Brenda’s request, there will not be a funeral service and it is appreciated your respect for the wishes of the family. Well wishes and Memories are gladly welcomed and appreciated.
