Jean Krug Robertson

Jean K Robertson, 97, of Richmond, VA, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024. Jean was born and raised in Richmond graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School and Mary Washington College. Following graduation, Jean worked at Reynolds Metal Co. in Richmond where she met her true love, Ingram O. Robertson, Jr (Inky). She became an avid Va Tech Hokie fan travelling with Inky to many Tech football games. They especially loved going to bowl games and cheering on the team. She and Inky retired to Westminster Canterbury and lived there happily for many years. Jean was a longtime active member of Christ Ascension Episcopal Church.

Jean is survived by her daughters Helen Yates (Jim), Alice Robertson (Mike Hughes), and Louise Middleton (Bill), and by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Inky, her son, Stephen Robertson, and her brother, Edwin Krug.

Jean's funeral service will be Friday July 12th at 1:00 p.m. in the Westminster Canterbury Spiritual Center. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Jackson-Field Home in Jarrett, VA, or the Employee Christmas Fund at Westminster-Canterbury in Richmond, VA.
