Kathy Mae Collins

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Jan Collins; her son, Erik Collins (Christine); her daughter, Meredith McDonald (Paul); and seven cherished grandchildren: Eleanor, Amelia, Rosie, Caroline, Ginny, Austin, and Margaret.

She is also survived by her siblings: Lynn (Bob), Bill (Chris), Emilie, Joan (Phil), Bitsy (Fane), and Andrew (Carol). She was preceded in death by her brother, Tim (Sherri).

Kathy found great joy and purpose in her career as a Registered Nurse, serving in the Maternal Infant Unit at Chippenham Hospital and later at Johnston-Willis Hospital. She finished her career in the Perinatal Unit, where she continued to care deeply for the mothers and babies she served. Of all her roles, though, her favorite by far was being “Gran” to her seven grandchildren.
