I met Michael when he was a teller in Carytown...way before Wells Fargo was there. He stood out from the others with his wide smile and pleasant manner. Soon we would run into one another in Carytown and other spots around town. From there I think he went on to furniture sales and eventually said he would become a massage therapist. Of course Ronnie was often accompanying him and I have vivid memories of them over on Semmes Avenue.
Hugs,warmth and and a genuinely spectacular smile were his trademarks. I will miss our encounters over the years.

Michael Good was my massage therapist for 4-5 years.  Michael was always the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful person.  He would greet me for my massages with a warm smile and big hug.  In addition to giving such wonderful massages, he was always asking me about the things that were most important to me.  He would always encourage me about my work as a mental health therapist and saw the best in me as a person.  He encouraged me in my faith and would talk with me about how God was working in my life.  He saw his work as a massage therapist to be a gift he was given and he wanted to use it to bless others.  He always made me feel like such a special human being.  Michael loved his family dearly and would always talk fondly about all of his family members (caring for his mother while she was alive, his siblings, his nieces and nephews).  Michael was not only a massage therapist but a wonderful counselor and friend.  He encouraged me in so many ways and like others have mentioned, there is now a hole in my heart in hearing of his loss.   I have been so blessed to have known him and to have been so touched by his life!  He will be greatly missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friend, church family and colleagues during this time of great loss!  Michael was a bright light and he certainly has inspired me in my life to shine brighter!  Much love to everyone!

We met in High School. He said "Hi, I'm Michael Good.....Good as in Terrific". We became instant friends. He was the friend that was always there for me. I called him when I found out my fiancee was not going to make it. Without hesitation he came to the hospital and was with me when my fiancee passed away. I will always remember his kind and loving nature. His amazing hugs that assured me everything was going to be alright. I will forever miss you my dear sweet friend. My sincerest condolences to his family and Ronnie.

Michael was indeed a very special human being as he embraced me unconditionally and fully,  I was reminded of God's grace and goodness .
I will miss those long hugs and those eyes that assured me that I was loved unconditionally .
I am grateful to have known Michael and will cherish his memory forever
May there be a big celebration in heaven and on earth as he is moving into everlasting joy.

To what all have said thus far, I agree. Michael's full attentiveness whenever we saw each other, his smile, his hugs, his laughter,  his kindness.  The light is in eyes was bright.  My deepest condolences to Ronnie, Unity of Richmond and all friends and family.

Michael was one of kindest people I knew.  It was the of sort of kindness I wanted to emulate.  He was always, genuinely, so interested in what was occurring in your life.   Michael and I were close growing up but we became even closer as adults.   We both had Mondays off and frequently spoke on the phone on Mondays.   There's a void in my heart that will never be filled.   I you Michael and already miss you terribly.

Michael gave awesome massages! He was so laid back and easy to talk to. I will miss him dearly. Love to Ronnie as well as Michael's family. Blessings💔😢

The hugs, the positive energy, the calming voice, the overwhelming need to help. Michael was such a caring man. I met Michael at Massage Envy Willow Lawn. My first introduction with him I was graced with a long inspiring embrace... from that moment on whenever I saw Michael that was the first thing he did before asking and actually listening to his question of "how are you doing Today". One day at a time.... A good soul gone to soon. One of God's many Angels now looking from above down on us. Rest in Peace Michael❤
