Patricia T Hubbard Parham

Born in Detroit, Michigan, on February 1, 1936, Pat was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruby Terrey. She grew up in the Midwest alongside her late brothers and graduated from Webster Groves High School in Missouri. She went on to attend Grinnell College in Iowa and later Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.

Physical therapy was Pat’s lifelong calling. She devoted decades to her profession, working well into her 70s. Pat specialized in treating children with Cerebral Palsy, orthopedic and neurological conditions, genetic disorders, and infants in early intervention programs. She mentored countless therapists throughout her career and owned her own practice for many years before transitioning it to Tuckahoe Physical Therapy.

Pat was blessed to experience love twice in her life—with her late husbands, Pete Hubbard, father of their children, and later, Oscar Parham. She is survived by her three children: Karen Halder (Scott), Chris Hubbard (Juli), and Terrey Parduhn (Troy). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth Carroll (Ryan), Amanda Bradford, Tori Hubbard, Ali Warnken (Clay), Danielle Bird (Thomas), and Keegan Currie; as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Cole Carroll, Eli Carroll, and Jaycee Warnken, who knew her as their GiGi.

A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held on May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Chester Presbyterian Church, 3424 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA, with a reception to follow.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Auburn Hill Senior Living for their daily care and compassion, and to Affinity Hospice for ensuring Pat’s passing was peaceful and comfortable.
