Wolf was preceded in death by his parents, Greta and Louis Alexander; Eileen; and his brothers, Mike and Tim Alexander.

He is survived by his brother, John (Bonnie); his sisters, Connie (Eddie), Pam (PeeWee), and Kay; many nieces and nephews; many close friends; and his dear friends, Matt and Faith Ward, who held a cherished place in his life.

Wolf was much more than a dear friend to those fortunate enough to know him. He was a man whose friendships ran deep and whose presence left a lasting mark on the people who loved him. His loyalty, friendship, and the connections he made throughout his life meant so much to those closest to him, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Wolf had a lifelong love of the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Whether spending time in the woods, casting a line, or simply enjoying the peace and solitude of nature, these were some of the moments that brought him happiness.

A visitation honoring Wolf’s life will be held on October 13, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., with arrangements being handled by Nelson Funeral Home in Ashland, Virginia.

Wolf will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten. His place in the lives and hearts of those who loved him will always remain.
