

Bob was born June 21,1947 in Ludlow, Massachusetts to Rudolph and Bertha Kazan. Bob was the oldest of two children. He grew up in Ludlow and attended Ludlow High School, Graduating in 1966. After graduation Bob pursued his high school sweetheart.
On January 6, 1968, Bob married the love of his life, Constance Joy Dill. He was drafted by the army in 1968; he rose in rank to an E-4 Specialist working with automated data processing units before being honorably discharged in 1971. He was a proud recipient of the National Defense Service award.
Bob and Connie completed their family by welcoming two daughters in the early years of their 57-year marriage. Bob believed that his family was everything and he loved his family dearly.
Bob is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Adrainne Arlette Crews, his father, Rudolph Ferdinand Kazan, his mother Bertha Barbara (Surowiec) and sister Susan L. Kazan
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Connie of 57 years, two daughters Roberta “Bobbey” Ellen Sakoman (Chris) of Youngsville, NC and Rebecca “Becky” Joy Yancey of Richmond VA. He leaves behind five grandchildren, Terry Jones Kazan of Richmond, VA, Alexander Craig Kazan (Dawn) of Richmond, VA, Sydney Grace Sakoman of Raleigh, NC, Samuel Kazan Joseph Sakoman of Jackson, MS and Seth James Sakoman of Raleigh, NC.
The family will receive friends and family at a memorial service from 10-11am on Saturday December 27th at Velocity Church 3300 Church Road, Richmond, VA 23233. Bob will be interred at the Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, Virginia in a small private family ceremony.
