
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Todd Daniel; father, George W. Buisson; mother, Mildred Isaacson Moore; grandparents, Joseph and Etta Moyna Lofthouse, George W. Buisson, and Ms. Matthews; son, Jack B Daniel; siblings, Rosalie Christopher, George Buisson, Marion Buisson, and Dagmar Buisson. Survivors include her sons, Phu Duc Nguyen and Rodney Byrd; daughters, Alethia T. Sangiray (Hayri), Maryam Kojouri (Cameron), Fariba Coddington (Jiles), Kay Saysamone (Steven Magpiong), Dao Savanmixay and daughter in law Barbara Daniel; grandchildren, Phillip Nguyen, Brittany Jim, Aidan T. Sangiray, Zeley D. Sangiray, Laura Daniel, Sarah Daniel, Shahrzad Kojouri, Jasmine Kojouri, Kelvin Savanmixay, Nevin Savanmixay, and Samantha Magpiong; great-grandchildren, Sophia Daniel, George Daniel, Indigo Magpiong Crowe, Kess Magpiong Crowe, Cedar Magpiong Crowe, Sinara Savanmixay, and Lily Nguyen; brothers, George Buisson and Marion Buisson; and sisters, Rosalie Christopher and Dagmar Buisson.
Sami was a secretary and a political activist; she was employed by the Pennsylvania State Education Association. She was a global volunteer in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Sami volunteered with APPLE, Easter Seals Society, Lutheran Children Foster Agency, and INAPAM (Isla Mujeres Affiliation). She loved puzzles and games, such as Othello, Scrabble, and Bananagrams, as well as knitting hats for the world. She also enjoyed traveling the world, cooking, gardening, and animal rescue.
Throughout her life, she touched so many lives and will be missed by all who had the chance to know her.
