

She is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Mario A. Martinez; her children, Kristina Parker of Farmville, VA, Stephanie Atkinson and husband Rob of Powhatan, VA, Wayne Parker and partner Oz of Richmond, VA, and Dylan Martinez and wife Jessica of Richmond, VA; and her siblings, Bonnie McManus of Salem, NH, Jeanette Toscano of North Andover, MA, Jeannine McManus of Johnson City, TN, Paul McManus Jr. and wife Tammy of Piney Flats, TN, and Laurence McManus of Las Vegas, NV. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Michael, Wesley, Alexis, Zachary, Alex, Savannah, and Thomas.
Sharon spent her life devoted to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She had a vibrant spirit and entrepreneurial drive, starting multiple businesses over the years that reflected her many passions. In recent years, she found joy in exploring makeup artistry and sharing tutorials, always eager to learn and create. A tried and true New England Patriots fan her whole life, she enjoyed watching the games at home with her husband and family. Sharon will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the deep love she had for her family.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at the private residence of her son, Wayne, and his partner, Oz, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend are asked to contact a member of the family for the address.
