It is with deep love and heartfelt remembrance that we celebrate the life of Sherry Lynne Woodlief, 63, of Prince George, Virginia, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born on April 12, 1963, to William and Rose Hall of Disputanta, Virginia, Sherry devoted her life to caring for others. Preceded in death by her father, William C. Hall, Jr., she leaves behind a family who will always carry her love in their hearts: her beloved husband, Daryn Woodlief; her mother, Rose Hall; her sister, Karen Outlaw; and her devoted and loving children, Aaron Zevgolis and Jennefer Lynch. She was the proud and joyfilled Nana of Trinity & William Zevgolis, and Evelyn & Cecilia Lynch.
She is also survived by so many other loving family members who will hold her close in their hearts and find comfort in the love she left behind.
For more than two decades, Sherry served as an Early Childhood/Special Needs paraprofessional, where her patience, kindness, and unwavering belief in children's potential touched countless lives. Her compassion extended far beyond her work; she had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.
Sherry's life was marked by courage. After bravely fighting cancer three times, she chose to spend her final chapter in the peace and warmth of her family's care-surrounded by those she loved most.
Sherry's legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the students she encouraged, and the many lives she touched through her compassion, quiet strength, and selfless love. Her presence will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers and to honor of Sherry's wishes, please consider donating to your favorite charity.
Her personal choice was Tunnel to Towers, an organization close to her heart.
Friends and loved ones are invited to share stories, photos, and messages of remembrance. Your reflections will help keep Sherry's beautiful spirit alive for all who loved her.
