Thomas Nelson Emerson III

Sonny was born in Newport News, VA to parents Tommy Emerson (Debbie) of Poquoson, VA and Laura Gillette (Gary) of Sarasota, FL. He was a cherished son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Sonny played football and wrestled at Poquoson High School and graduated from the College of William and Mary. He went on to work in the recruitment industry.

Sonny loved music, especially the Grateful Dead and Phish. He was a lover of the outdoors and fishing, an avid collector of comic books, and loved spending time with friends.

He is survived by his parents, his Grandma, Jackie, his brother and sisters, Lisa, Dana, Rob, and Renee, aunts, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
