Virginia Durrant Francis

Virginia D. Francis peacefully passed away on Saturday November 18, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family and covered in prayer by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Anna Mary and John Benjamin Durrant, her husband of 63 years Kenneth Archie Francis and her son Roderic Palmer Francis.

A service to honor her life of 98 years will be held 11:00 AM Monday December 4, 2023 at St Matthias Episcopal Church, 11300 Huguenot Road Midlothian VA 23113. This service will be live streamed at stmatmidlo.com.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Matthias Episcopal Church in Midlothian Va; to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hertford NC; to Church of the Holy Spirit in Lebanon NJ; or to the Episcopal Relief and Development Fund.

A burial service will be held in Quakertown NJ at a later date.

The family extends deep gratitude to all those who have impacted our lives by their generous loving support and care of Ginny. Special thanks to our St Matthias Church family, to James River Hospice, to the staff at the Laurels of Bon Air, and to many family, friends and neighbors who have walked with us on this journey.

We are truly blessed and grateful. She is forever in our hearts.
